The Story:
It wasn't the prettiest of victories, but the Mavericks handed the Hornets their first loss of the season in Dallas. Just two days later, the Mavs stomp into the Hornets' home court with the hopes of staying unbeaten on the road. Adding to the minidrama is the fact that Dallas has not won in New Orleans for six straight trips there. Caron Butler, out for the past three games, is still listed as a gametime decision.
