...But What If There's No Basketball? NBA Fan Voice!

If this lockout has made me realize only one thing, it's that running a basketball blog in the absence of basketball is not an easy task. Much respect to the dudes out there keeping the numbers up, because it damn sure isn't a walk in the park. And if this lockout has made me realize a second thing, it's that basketball takes up more of my time than I initially thought. Without games to watch, what the hell am I going to do with my evenings?

Have a social life?

Please.

If we're being honest, and I think we are, this blog has come to mean quite a bit to me, and I think of all you members as my little basketball posse. We rode the insane roller coaster that is the Dallas Mavericks Basketball Season together, and ended on the highest note possible. That's right, y'all. We're still champs. But if there's no season to watch, we won't really have an excuse to gather two or three times a week on our game thread and talk about everything BUT the game.

And that's probably what bums me out the most. I miss you guys...

There are a few of you (and you know who you are) that I used to talk to daily on some form of social media or the other, and now we haven't interacted in months! What a bummer! I can't tell you how thankful I am to the stalwart few of you who have been posting regularly; my gratitude knows no bounds. This has been tough going, and it doesn't look to be getting any easier soon. So I ask, nay, beg of you, KEEP COMING AROUND!

We can find things to talk about!

I know y'all have been watching that new Zooey Deschanel show, The New Girl. And I just recently became obsessed with Big Bang Theory. I have this dorky sense of accomplishment when I get their science jokes.

Come hang out with me. I'm bored and lonely, and without basketball, all we have on this blog is each other!

Oh yeah. And the Rangers are going to the World Series. NBD.
