WHEN: 7:30pm CT

THE STORY: We have waited a full 54 games for this night. The much-hyped, rarely-seen guard from Guadaloupe will make his season debut, having sat on the bench recovering from an injured foot since this summer. Adding to the arsenal of shooters is Peja Stojakovic, who saw a season-high 22 points last game and may or may not be back in his groove. The Mavericks have a 13-game win streak at home versus the Kings, who hope Tyreke Evans will be able to contribute after missing their last game at OKC with plantar fasciitis. Some quality links (check out Jeff Caplan's mid-season grades) after the jump, and join the movement to overthrow Sactown Royalty.

With Peja Stojakovic on his game, the Dallas Mavericks should only get stronger. The veteran swingman looks to further contribute for his new team while trying to help the Mavericks continue their recent dominance of the visiting Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.

Inside Report: Kings-Mavericks preview — Roddy B. Preps for Season Debut
Mavericks fans have been not so patiently awaiting the season debut of second-year guard Roddy Beaubois for 54 games. They get their wish Wednesday night. After dazzling Dallas fans with a 16-point performance off the bench in Game 6 of the Mavericks’ first-round playoff series defeat at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs last season, Beaubois developed a cult-like following that has made his legend grow by the day even after he suffered a fractured left foot that required surgery in the offseason.

2010-11 Dallas Mavericks midseason report card - ESPN Dallas
Mavericks grades: Tyson Chandler and Dirk Nowitzki are at the head of the class. By Dirk Nowitzki's admission, Chandler changed the culture of the team's approach to defense. And you can probably give him credit for changing the overall demeanor of the club to one tougher bunch.

Dwayne Casey: 'If you don't believe and don't have confidence in us, then you're not a true Mavs fan'
When Roddy comes back, it’s going to be a situation where he hasn’t played competitive for a long time so our expectations are great for Roddy in the long term but short term, it’s going to take him a little time to get back in the flow of things, get back into a rhythm with his teammates.
