Wearing a sleeve over his surgically-repaired right knee, Butler can't do much more than sort of hobble about and hoist jumpers, but even that is significant progress with the playoffs a little more than three weeks away. "I'm pushing hard," Butler said. "I'm definitely trying to get back. I'm feeling good, just pushing."

What caused former Mavs forward Mark Aguirre to black out at Plano club
Former Mavericks great Mark Aguirre was hospitalized Wednesday with a circulation problem after falling ill at a Plano athletic club, according to close friend Frank Zaccanelli. Aguirre, one of the greatest players in the team’s history, apparently had a clogged vessel while working out on a treadmill, according to Zaccanelli, who was the Mavericks’ general manager during the 1990s.
