WHAT: Round Two, Game Two
WHERE: STAPLES Center, Los Angeles, CA
WHEN: 9:30pm CT
THE STORY: Whether you're of the opinion that the Mavericks stole game one or the Lakers gave it away, the situation is still the same- Dallas has the opportunity to go up two games to none before even setting foot on their home court. The possibility is positively mouth watering. But let's be realistic- these are the defending champs. Twice defending champs. So if you thought tonight's game was going to be easy, I imagine you haven't watched a lot of basketball this season. Take a look at some of the links... it's weird seeing all this national coverage of our oft-ignored team. And I haven't heard a peep from Silver Screen and Roll, which I hope means you haven't bothered anyone :)
Said it before and I'll say it again... GO MABS GO!!!!
Mavericks-Lakers Preview - NBA - Yahoo! Sports
Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki were born just two months apart in 1978, and they've both been NBA superstars for over a decade. Why The Mavericks Can Beat The Lakers
The Mavericks became the second straight team this year to defeat the Lakers in Los Angeles in the first game of a series. The Lakers found themselves down 1-0 to the Hornets in Round 1, but came back to win the series 4-2. However, in the highly anticipated conference semis matchup with the Dallas Mavericks, a Game 1 victory for the road team is much more significant.

NBA Playoffs: Dirk Nowitzki on Kobe Bryant - ESPN
It's a frequent but little-known staple of Dirk Nowitzki's German-engineered game night routine. When the Dallas Mavericks play at home and Kobe Bryant's Los Angeles Lakers are playing in their usual time zone, Nowitzki tries to make sure he's back at the house and in front of his big screen in time to watch the Lakers in crunch time.
Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki: Different kind of rivalry - ESPN
In this, his first season with the Dallas Mavericks, Tyson Chandler noticed something different in his games against Kobe Bryant. This wasn't the same version of Bryant that Chandler saw when he was with the Bulls, Hornets and Bobcats.
