If you guys are anything like me, you're probably totally confused as to why the two best sports leagues in the universe are currently in the middle of lockouts. But chances are, you're nothing like me and you know a lot more than I do, because you are all legit sports fans, amIright?

There have been a lot of discussions around this site regarding what is going on and who is at fault, and I wanted to try and centralize the conversation a little bit. I know that a lot of you Mavs fans are also Cowboys fans by default, so I'm sure you're just as interested in the NFL lockout. I, for one, would like to see my Redskins play some football this fall. The two NFL and NBA editors at SBNation were kind enough to create a dual primer comparing and contrasting the simultaneous lockouts, and I found it to be QUITE informative.

So tell me. Should we be mad at the players for being greedy? Should we be angry at the owners for possibly preventing our beloved sports from being played? Would we be ok with a shorter NBA season?

What are your thoughts?
