THE STORY: The Mavericks lost with yet another disappointing last-second three-point shot when they played the Lakers two nights ago. Since then, we've learned that Vince Carter is on his way back to Dallas with a sprained foot, and Dirk Nowitzki has the sniffles. Dirk is still on tap to play, however, and as he proved in the finals, it takes a lot more than a cold to stop the man.
