Well, the lottery has come and gone and now we know how the draft order will go on June 28th. The New Orleans Hornets and new owner Tom Benson will have the top selection, and, by all accounts, will take Kentucky's Anthony Davis. That part is certainly not news.

Where Dallas fans might be more interested, is the #6 selection, which now goes to the Portland Trailblazers, as the final bounty in the Gerald Wallace trade. Conventional wisdom says this does serious damage to the notion of Dwight Howard being traded to the Brooklyn Nets, and puts major pressure on owner MIkhail Prokhorov to entice free agent Deron Williams to stay with an organization that has now seen a half-decade straight of below .500 finishes.

Here is the final order for the draft lottery:

14. Houston

13. Phoenix

12. Milwaukee

11. Portland

10. New Orleans

9. Detroit

8. Toronto

7. Golden State

6. Portland

5. Sacremento

4. Cleveland

3. Washington

2. Charlotte

1. New Orleans
