XXX Olympics Open Thread: Because AMURRICA! (And yay everyone else...)

Well unless you got up at the butt-crack of dawn today, you probably missed the "Not Dream Team" beating Spurs' Tony Parker and France (ah, sweet redemption.) If you tuned in a little later, you might have caught Yi Jianlian and his Chinese team falling to Paul Gasol and Serge Ibaka with Spain.

But basketball isn't the only sport going on (I KNOW, relax) so if you feel the need to chat about sports and how the US is faring in these Olympic games, this is your spot to do so. Also, I know we have a TON of international folks on this blog, so boast away if your home country is doing well! It's the Olympics- celebrate diversity!

Meanwhile, Rick Carlisle and Dirk Nowitzki apparently have a date to watch some table tennis later today.

I wish I was in London.

Also, does anyone else think of these as the Porn Olympics? Just me? Sigh. Roman numerals...
