For the moment, ignore the fact that Dallas has only won one of the last 12 games against the Thunder (regular season or playoffs). I want you to think about their super stars.
Past Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Durant is my favorite player in the league. It helps that he's the evolutionary Dirk-Kevin Durant-Tracy McGrady hybrid. It also helps that he seems to be wholly devoted to basketball. He's also Lebron's main rival (and I love to root against Lebron). He's an amazing, brilliant player. But, on any given night, he might not even be the best player on his own team.
Russell Westbrook is a living, breathing, controversy factory. Mainly because he plays the game differently than just about every other player at his position in the league. He takes the most shots, he scowls, he dresses like he was attacked by his closet. He's a whirling dervish of unbridled athleticism and he strikes fear into the hearts of opposing back courts mainly because he plays like a man possessed.
Which of these two teammates will cause Dallas the most trouble in Oklahoma City tonight? My gut says Russell Westbrook, just because Shawn Marion has always been brilliant against Durant. But Durant is also a basketball game cheat code. Let us know in the comments below!
