The crew here at Mavs Moneyball wants to wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! We hope your day is full of fun and family, with a dash of presents sprinkled in.
There's also some basketball going on, so here's a thread if you want to talk about it.
Chicago at Brooklyn tips off at 11 a.m. (all times central) and can be found on ESPN. With that said, I'd recommend sleeping in past this one.
Next up is Oklahoma City at New York. It's a 1:30 p.m. on ABC and it does feature Durant vs. Carmelo. The Thunder have actually won 17 of their last 19 games and are totally cruising -- I'd imagine the same will happen in this game.
Well, the Miami at LA Lakers showdown at 4 p.m. (also on ABC) had some promise of being good, and then Kobe went down with injury again. All we can hope is that Swaggy P is in full, swagged out mode.
FINALLY a game worth it's vaunted Christmas day slot -- Houston plays at San Antonio at 7 p.m. on ESPN. It features the team the Mavericks last played as well as the team the Mavericks play next.
And let's close it out with the Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State. It's a 9:30 start on ESPN. I demand we set the over/under for combined three point attempts at like 45.
Merry Christmas and to all a good day!
