WHAT: Somehow, the FIRST meeting between these two teams this season

THE STORY: We're 28 games into the season and somehow the Mavs and Spurs haven't played each other yet. That changes tonight, with San Antonio rolling into Dallas off the heels of a loss to Houston on national television. The Spurs probably aren't too happy about that and have several players (Tony Parker, primarily) ready to make amends for a poor showing, so the Mavericks will need to come out ready to play if they want to better a 11-3 home record.
Specifically, the Dallas bench needs to keep up with a Spurs 2nd unit that is very talented and can score in bunches. It'll be harder to survive an off-night from a key player tonight than it usually is. But I'm expecting a great game and hopefully it lives up to my expectations.
