THE STORY: The Suns have lost 10 in a row. TEN. If the Mavericks can't put this one away and shave their beards, I will lose all hope in humanity. On top of that, Dallas has beaten Phoenix at home 11 straight times. Let's be serious. If they can't win this game, they deserve to miss the playoffs. The win in Portland was an exciting one (another blown lead? you don't say...) and these last few games are only serving to keep playoff hopes alive. I never understand the "magic number" nonsense, but I think if the Mavs win out and the Jazz and Lakers both lose two of their last games, something happens.
