Dallas Mavericks Summer League Game Four Thread

The Dallas Mavericks take on the Los Angeles Clippers live from the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.

USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Mavericks take on the Los Angeles Clippers in game four of the Mavs' Las Vegas Summer League tour. The Mavs have "earned" the 16th seed in the new Summer League playoff system. Dallas won their first game in comeback fashion against Sacramento, but took losses against the Bobcats and the D-League Select Team the last two games.

For those interested, the Mavs and Clippers will play today for the right to play the #1 seed Golden State Warriors tomorrow. If Dallas falls to the Clippers, they will take on the loser of the New York/Miami game going on right now, on Friday.

The Clippers Summer League Roster can be found here.

In case you missed the last two games, Bernard James is still back in Dallas and will miss tonight's contest. It is unclear exactly what Dallas intends to do with James, who has a non-guaranteed contract, as the Mavs are reportedly close to signing Samuel Dalembert and are still pursuing Greg Oden.
