Dallas and Cents: Saturday Edition

A look around the internet at who is saying what about the Dallas Mavericks

Mike Ehrmann

1.) The great Zach Lowe of Grandland takes a look at signing second round draft picks, using Ricky Ledo as an example of the creativity required to sign a player who potentially has options other than the NBA. I am mortified no one told me Ricky Ledo's agent is named Seth Cohen. This would've been brought up at Summer League.

2.) Rob Mahoney of the Point Forward gives the Mavericks a C+ for his off-season grade. His grade has more to do with what didn't happen in Dallas along with potential ramifications of the Ellis/Calderon deals.

3.) My friend Jacob Greenberg at The Diss writes about his on court persona and how he envisions himself as DeShawn Stevenson. This is a fun read, because he credits the 2011 Championship Mavericks for making him want to get back out on the court and play basketball again.

4.) Mavericks play-by-play announcer Mark Followill visits with The Two Man Game about the schedule and gives his thoughts on some potential stumbling blocks.

5.) Ball Don't Lie's Kelly Dwyer talks about the pros and cons of signing Monta Ellis.

6.) Mark Cuban went on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Part one he talks about baseball and performance enhancing drugs

Part two talks more basketball.
