THE STORY: The Pellies beat the Mavs in their preseason matchup in the Shreveport area, but preseason means nothing and also the Mavs sat their top players in that game. That certainly won't be the case tonight, because, well, the games count now. The Mavs are coming off a rout of the Jazz the other night, with their offense looking prolific, but let's not sleep on this young Pelicans team -- they could easily give the Mavs a run for their money.
