Christmas Day NBA games open thread

Merry Christmas from Mavs Moneyball to you and your family!

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Merry Christmas and happy holidays from Mavs Moneyball! It's been a fun year for all of us here at the site, from learning Monta really did have it all, to that Vince Carter 3-pointer we'll never forget, to the return of Tyson Chandler and the outsmarting of the Rockets to nab another Chandler, to bringing Rajon Rondo into the fold. We wrote a lot of things (1,042 posts this year and counting), some emotionally moving and some brilliant fun. Most of all, I think we all had a good time, and I want to thank each and everyone of you who have read and stuck with us all year for your support!

Anyway, this is just a long-winded way of saying thanks. Feel free to use this post to discuss a less than ideal slate of Christmas games. Seriously, let's get the Knicks and Lakers to just play each other already so we don't have to suffer through them playing in two places.

Here's the games (all times are central)

Wizards at Knicks, 11 a.m.

Thunder at Spurs, 1:30 p.m. (Durant is out)

Cavaliers at Heat, 4 p.m. (Bosh is out)

Lakers at Bulls, 7 p.m.

Warriors at Clippers, 9:30 p.m. (Bogut is out)
