Today in head-scratching Mavs news comes this tweet from ESPN's Marc Stein:
Hearing Shane Larkin, Bernard James and Jae Crowder will all make one-game cameo tonight with D-League's @TexasLegends in home game vs. LA

Neither of these players has seen the court much recently and Crowder's minutes have taken a dramatic hit since the All Star break so it may just be an attempt to get them some playing time. That seems a bit hard to believe, though. Something has to be going on.
More Stein:
NBA teams can only have three players on D-League assignment at once. Mavs likely to recall Ricky Ledo so Larkin, James and Crowder can play

Don't get too excited about the potential return of the #LedoPassAlert. He will likely be sent back down after Crowder, Larkin, and James play their one game in Frisco.
The Legends will be facing the Los Angeles D-Fenders tonight, who also have a new face suiting up for them. Xavier Henry was just sent down from the Lakers.
MMB staff will be at the game tonight to keep you posted on the latest developments.
