MMB Contest: We have a winner!

What did we learn? Well, we don't have any pessimists on this site. Not a single prediction for a Mavs loss? But hey, I'm not complaining. The Mavs did win.

Anyhow, Burf had the Mavericks winning 92-88, which was easily the closest prediction to the 94-89 final score. A vast majority of you guys had the Mavericks and their third-best offense in the league scoring more than 100 points in the game, which is understandable. Not that it matters, but Burf was also just a couple points off of his Dirk tiebreaker at 21 (Dirk had 19).

It was their first comment, but I would certainly hope not the last. We had several first-time commenters come out of their lurking, which I always love seeing. If there's ever a time to talk Mavs, it's right now. Don't be shy and post a comment or two!

They only win a shoutout in this post, but gossamer and PhreshPrince earn runner-up honors. Each predicted a 98-91 Mavericks win. g3n3 also came close with a 98-92 Dallas victory.
