THE STORY: Happy Sunday, folks. Almost exactly two months ago, the Mavs traveled to Brooklyn, and were defeated by the Nets in what I believe we not-so-lovingly referred to as "The Mirza Teletovic Game." Now, the Nets and their first year head coach -- one Jason Kidd, who happens to have a birthday today -- come into Dallas. There was a time earlier in the season when Brooklyn was still finding its way, but they've been pretty good of late. Kevin Garnett didn't make the trip with an injury, so that's one less player to worry about, but as always, if the Mavs can shoot and play a little defense, they should be all right.
