Hi guys. We're about to go meta here, so hang with me.
To our Mavs Moneyball community -- old or new -- I wanted to extend a huge thank you for your support and following of our coverage. We'd probably do this even if nobody read our stuff because it's a ton of fun, but we had half a million page views last month thanks to you guys.
Along with the thank you, I wanted to give you guys a brief look at what is upcoming this offseason. We're going to take this week (and perhaps a couple of days of the next) to look back at this season. It deserves that much in reflection. Look for an end of the season roundtable, several articles reflecting back on the season from the different perspectives of our writers and a couple of quoteboards breaking down what was said in the exit interviews that wrapped up a few minutes ago at the American Airlines Center practice court. Yes, I'll probably even write a final Aftermath for the season as a whole.
We will begin free agency and NBA Draft coverage at some point after that. Yes, that means Doyle will get to write about Josh McRoberts. We'll try to figure out what some of the free agents might look like in a Mavericks uniform next season, including Lance Stephenson, Trevor Ariza, Ed Davis and Luol Deng, just to name a few.
We have a lot of fantastic offseason ideas that we will start letting you know about as we get closer to running them. I can assure you that Fan Fiction Friday will make a return sometime in the very near future. If that doesn't get you excited, I don't know what will.
Lastly, I'm excited to announce a couple of new writers in Rami Michail and Bailey Rogers. They each wrote a handful of articles down the stretch of the season, so you might already be familiar with them. However, we're officially bringing them on as staff writers at this point.
Okay, I'm done. Now, I want to turn it over to you guys. What do you want to see and read on Mavs Moneyball in the long offseason months? Feel free to comment or email me (tcat075@gmail.com) if you have suggestions or requests.
Thanks guys. Don't go anywhere.
