I'll try to keep this professional but that's going to be hard:
The Rockets will not match the offer sheet to keep Chandler Parsons, per source.

Rockets were torn over decision, source said, but ultimately decided they would not be a championship team and would have no room to build.

The decision largely came down to whether the Rockets were good enough with a big three of Harden, Howard and Parsons.

The last two days have been confusing; first we saw Trevor Ariza sign a 4 years, $32 million deal in Houston, then the Miami Heat signed Luol Deng to a 2 year, $20 million contract. All signs pointed to Dallas getting Parsons, yet the fact remained that Houston could match. If the sourcing here holds, then Chandler Parsons will suit up next year as a member of the Dallas Mavericks.
Everything is coming up Dirk! First Germany wins the World Cup, now it seems nearly certain for Dallas to sign a very talented (and YOUNG) swing man for him to play the next three seasons with. We'll have a reaction piece up shortly!!!!
Lets go Mavs!
UPDATE:
ESPN's Marc Stein says the Mavs and Rockets are working on a sign and trade:
Sources say Mavs & Rockets talking potential sign-&-trade that would create trade exception for Houston. But Dallas gets Parsons either way
