As we all expected, Nelson is finalizing the $2.7 exception the Mavericks had available (tweet says $6 million because the contract increases in year two and then Stein rounded up). Carry on!

In other news, I'm really digging Jameer's plaid sportscoat in the photo. Hopefully he brings a sharp fashion game to the locker room every home game, because he'll have several players to compete with. Some of Jae Crowder's best contributions throughout his two seasons have been his post-game attire, if you didn't know.
