Rajon Rondo kneed in face, leaves game

UPDATE 6:38 p.m.: Rajon Rondo was diagnosed with a head injury. He will not return to the game and will be reassessed by team doctors when the Mavericks return to Dallas.

Rajon Rondo went to the locker room in Orlando after he was inadvertently kneed in the face by Richard Jefferson minutes into the game.

Rondo stayed down for the entirety of a timeout while bleeding from his nose. It's impossible to know for sure but the obvious fear is a broken nose or a concussion.

The Mavericks are already missing Chandler Parsons, who sat out his second game with a stomach bug. We'll update this post when we have more information.
