Over a year ago, it was announced that Dallas would be wearing an alternate uniform for the 2015-16 season that prominently featured the Dallas skyline. The design was fan-made, a result of a contest held on owner Mark Cuban's personal blog.
There was a mock-up of the jersey at the announcement press conference, but there has been some speculation about the extent to which the team would spruce the uniform up a bit. Well, now we know. Stance.com has an image of Chandler Parsons wearing the uniform, and it looks as though very little (if anything) has changed from the mock-up:
In fact, this uniform may actually be even more basic than the original mock-up, which featured a slightly different collar than the Mavs normal unis. If you ask me, this is a pretty serious step down from the Mavs' previous alternate uniform. The skyline design actually looks pretty great on the shooting shirts, but I would've liked to have seen a little more creativity put into the smaller details of the uniform.
Plus having the team name down the shorts is never a good look. Just ask the Browns. But what do you all think?
