Both Devin Harris and J.J. Barea are expected to return from injuries on Wednesday's home matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, per Rick Carlisle.
Barea injured his ankle against San Antonio on Nov. 25 and has missed the last six games. Harris went down in a collision with teammate Dwight Powell in Sunday's win against Washington and missed Monday's clash against the Knicks with the rib injury.
In their absence, John Jenkins and Justin Anderson have seen more time filling in. Unfortunately, despite a few good moments from Jenkins, it means he probably won't get a chance for a revenge game against the Hawks, his former team where he spent his first three NBA seasons before joining Dallas this offseason.
The narcissistic side of me would point that the Mavericks played two very strong offensive games against Washington and New York despite Chandler Parsons sitting for the first one, and that maybe the absence of those two wasn't a complete coincidence -- especially since both have had very poor starts to the season shooting the ball. But I'd be surprised to see any rotational change, such as Jenkins staying in the rotation.
