THE STORY: The Mavericks were embarrassed against the Cavs the other night, and it spawned a lot of thinking about whether this group has what it takes to make it INTO the playoffs, much less get past a first round matchup. Tonight's game should be a good test of fortitude. An elite Western Conference opponent, a Mavs team scrambling, and a Clips team who always seems to bring a little something extra against the Mavs.
