Update March 5, 3:10 p.m.: Parsons has also been ruled out for Friday's game against the Warriors, while all signs point to Tyson Chandler playing against the Blazers Thursday.
Original post March 4: The Dallas Mavericks are headed out on a three game road trip out west. With games against the Blazers, Warriors and Lakers, the Mavs will need all hands on deck. Tyson Chandler is listed as probable after missing three games with a hip contusion; Chandler Parsons will sit out his sixth straight game because of bone bruise to his right ankle.
Via Mavericks’ injury report: Tyson Chandler is probable against Portland on Thursday. Chandler Parsons is out.

The return of Tyson Chandler will bring a sigh of relief with the Mavs facing Robin Lopez and Andrew Bogut on a back-to-back. Bernard James played admirably in Tyson's absence, but Lopez and Bogut's presence require the services of the Mavs' only elite center.
It is assumed that Richard Jefferson will continue to start in Parsons absence. Jefferson played well in his last game with 16 points on 5-6 field goals.
