As usual, the first round of the NBA playoffs stretches out longer than the following ones due to eight series going all at once. The Mavericks' opening game will come Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Dallas gets a two-day break before playing the Rockets in Houston for Game 2 on Tuesday, again at 8:30 p.m. The Mavs will also get two days off before Game 3 before going into a one game on, one game off schedule.
