THE STORY: The Mavs didn't have much going in Game One, though they kept within something of a respectable distance throughout. Game Two is really going to be about adjustments: seeing how well Rick Carlisle can turn those lessons around. Can he hide Dirk better on D? Will Good Monta and Playoff Rondo show up? Can Dallas take better advantage of stretches with Howard out? Etc. etc.
