Saying goodbye to the complicated Rajon Rondo era

We bid adieu to the Rajon Rondo trade.

The Rajon Rondo trade came to an unceremonious end, when Rick Carlisle announced that Rondo would be out indefintely with a back (lol) injury and doesn't expect him to return in a Maverick uniform.

The Rajon Rondo era its ups and (mostly) downs, but for a brief moment in time it brought championship aspirations. He brought us great moments like the return game in Boston and that second quarter in Game 1 against the Rockets. He gave us unforgettable moments like getting suspended for fighting with Rick Carlisle and committing an 8-second violation without any backcourt pressure. If nothing, he's been interesting.

It's a shame his time in Dallas ended so abruptly. He was acquired for the playoffs and only played a game and a half. But I assume this is all for the best. His back injury sounds very serious; he may need several months of rest on Venice Beach.

Farewell Rajon, you were much better in theory than in practice, but thanks for bringing us Dwight Powell.
