We're now out of the top 12 after Cameron Payne was selected via tiebreak (by myself).
Here's the full list of players we've selected so far.
1. Karl-Anthony Towns
2. Jahlil Okafor
3. D'Angelo Russell
4. Emmanuel Mudiay
5. Willie Cauley-Stein
6. Justise Winslow
7. Mario Hezonja
8. Kristaps Porzingis
9. Myles Turner
10. Frank Kaminsky
11. Stanley Johnson
12. Cameron Payne
Sam Dekker and Jerian Grant also were tied and I thought Payne was the better player, so there we go. He has rose up draft boards recently and has a good chance to actually be a lottery pick when the draft roles around.
Of the remaining names, Bobby Portis stands out. Portis is a poor man's version of LaMarcus Aldridge, but he has a versatile jumper that stretches to the corner 3, runs the break well and can play defense. He was sometimes overwhelmed against high levels of athleticism, but that should be less of a factor when he's just a player, not the number one option like he was in Arkansas. Here's a scouting report.
It's also not going to be long until I start voting for R.J. Hunter. There's better players than him remaining, but Hunter fits the needs of the Mavericks and is a perfect player for the direction the NBA is headed.
Vote and tell us why you picked who you did!
