A Woj Bomb can drop at any moment of any day. In this case, new Kings head coach George Karl is trying to trade franchise superstar DeMarcus Cousins, something Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reported early Tuesday morning.
At the end of his report, Wojnarowski said that the Kings were trying to clear cap space to make a run at former Mavericks' point guard Rajon Rondo. As a fanbase who watched Rondo give up in the playoffs and make a fool out of himself, it's weird to see him linked as an actual free agent target, but who knows.
Now -- Boogie to Dallas? That's all but a pipe dream. Even if Karl wants him gone, thinking he'll give him up for anything but a ransom payout is ludicrous. Cousins is basically a yearly All-NBA team member and it wouldn't feel right if he wasn't rejoining the Kings roster next year. But then again, Boogie tweeted this out after the trade rumors leaked.

It's true that the Mavericks have some incentives -- an aging but still potent superstar and no income tax, among other things -- but yeah, let's not act like that'll happen.
If he does end up in Dallas, you know we'll have plenty of coverage regardless. But this is a bit of a long shot. That's all.
