Dirk Nowitzki did not have a good shooting night, but he hit the shots when it mattered, nailing a game-winning jumper from the right baseline for Dallas to escape Los Angeles with a 92-90 win against the Lakers.
After nailing the jumper, a classic fadeaway we've seen his entire career, Dirk turned right to Kobe Bryant, who gave him a celebratory bump of sorts. UGH NEVER RETIRE YOU TWO.
The rest of that game was, uh, forgettable. But damn, Dirk Nowitzki forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever. He knew exactly what he was doing.
