Dirk Nowitzki and his wife Jessica are expecting another child in a few weeks, the family’s third since they married in 2012. Nowitzki wouldn’t reveal whether it was a boy or a girl.
"Almost here," Nowitzki told the Dallas Morning News. "It's been one after the other. But it's fun. The big one is over 3 now. The little one is a little over 1½. So it's busy at the house and it's going to be even busier, but I really enjoy it. They go nuts when papa comes home. It's the greatest feeling in the world. But obviously it's busy.”
I fully support any and every Nowitzki, and you can’t have too many of them in the world. This is great news.
Nowitzki will likely miss a game or two in November when the child is born due to paternity leave, and he should absolutely take as much time as he needs. But we can worry about bridge when we get there. Right now, this is just a wildly exciting time for Nowitzki and his family.
