It’s growing more and more obvious that the Mavericks are bad this year. A run to the playoffs is still alive in technicality — but nothing from the first 14 games of this team has indicated that they’re even capable of a 35-win year.
We’re all but certain the Mavericks are just bad. So we talked to a 76ers bloggers and pseudo-fan about what it’s like rooting and watching a team that you know isn’t going to win games. Austin Ngaruiya and I were joined by Jake Fischer, who you can follow @JakeLFischer.
We talked about a few other things, too, such as who we like in the draft, what we think about the 76ers (who may be battling the Mavericks for the top pick) and whether Nerlens Noel is a plausible option for Dallas at center next season, whether it’s through a trade or in free agency. Hope you enjoy!
