Seth Curry’s breakout game leads the Mavericks to a 109-97 win against the Lakers

The Mavericks have now won two-straight games.

Congratulations to the Dallas Mavericks, who won another game on Tuesday.

For a minute, it felt like they would totally blow it. They didn’t, beating a team they’re better than. Too bad the rest of the night couldn’t play out like that.

The Dallas Mavericks are now 2-5 on the season, and they play the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.

Seth Curry finally breaks out

Yo! I kept waiting for this to happen, and it finally did. Seth Curry balled out finally, and without him, the Mavericks couldn’t have won. Here’s some highlights.

Curry finished with 23 points on 15 shots, making nine of them. That’s real good, and I’m glad he finally broke out a little bit.

Harrison Barnes keeps ballin’ out

I don’t know, man. I’ve expressed my thoughts that Barnes has shown great signs, and that he will also eventually come back down to Earth. His play on Tuesday made it seem like he was never going to fail, though, in the famous words of Chance the Rapper.

Barnes finished with 31 points on 11-of-18 shooting, even without his mid-range jumper working like you’d like. That’s ridiculous. Eventually, I still say he’ll go through some struggles. But damn, he’s been everything you could ask out of him and more through seven regular season games.

Pray for America

I know a lot of our readers live out of this country. And I know y’all know what happened in our election.

Goddamn. I’m a white male, and I feel so terrible. Just imagine being a minority, whether that’s another race or another gender. It’s almost unimaginable.

We’ll survive this. But damn, it’s going to be a tough four years.
