The coolest event the Mavericks host every season is Seats for Soldiers, an event where season ticket holders give up their courtside seats so U.S. military service members can take in the game from the front rows.
This year’s Seat for Soldiers is taking place today, with courtside seats going to more than 100 wounded service members from Brooke Army Medical Center down in San Antonio plus reserve troops from the DFW area. Here they are!

The Mavericks actually sent ManiAACs and Mavs Dancers down to San Antonio to put up the veterans.

This is the 12th straight year the Mavericks have done Seats for Soldiers, and both Rick Carlisle and Mark Cuban talked before the game about how it was one of their favorite events. You can see videos from past events here.
Josh Howard actually scored his career high, with 47 points, in a Seats for Soldiers in 2007. It’s a cool event, and hopefully Monday is another great games for these dudes.
