Despite Donnie Nelson saying the Mavericks would not make a trade this afternoon, Dallas is reportedly still in the running for Sacramento guard Ben McLemore.
The Dallas Mavericks have crept into the pursuit of Sacramento Kings guard Ben McLemore pursuit, league sources say. They're a dark horse.

Dallas could trade Raymond Felton for McLemore straight up, plus a second round pick to sweeten the offer. McLemore is a shooting guard who has struggled to find his role in the NBA, but he's young and basically a better, more proven version of John Jenkins. He would theoretically give Dallas the added scoring punch off the bench that they need.
We'll keep updating you as these rumors progress. The odds are very likely that the Mavericks still don't make a move, so don't get too excited here. But at the very least, know that Donnie and Mark Cuban still have their ears open.
UPDATE: USA Today's Sam Amick says the Mavericks took a "lot of calls" but will not end up doing that deal.
The Mavs took a lot of calls from the Kings on Ben McLemore & considered it, but not expected to make that move. T-minus 22 minutes...
