News rolled in this afternoon that guards Deron Williams and Devin Harris will sit out Wednesday's game against the Miami Heat.
Williams suffered a hip injury Monday night against the Atlanta Hawks. He limped to the bench in obvious pain and did not return to the game after initial reports stated otherwise.
This will be the sixth consecutive game that Harris misses due to a toe injury. Unfortunately, Rick Carlisle told reporters this afternoon that he expects him to miss at least two more games.
The injuries leave Raymond Felton and J.J. Barea as the primary backcourt ball handlers for Dallas. It stands to reason that Chandler Parsons could see an increased role in facilitating the offense because of the injuries.
Miami comes into Dallas at relative full strength. Only Hassan Whiteside is listed as questionable for the Heat.
