THE STORY: The Mavericks can secure a playoffs berth if they can beat the Clippers today, or with a Rockets loss. It's that simple. Unfortunately, that win will have to come against the Clippers, who have Blake Griffin back BUT who could also be resting players as they are locked into the four seed.

We'll be keeping an eye on Rockets-Lakers, which tips off at the same time as the Mavs. Your Girl Friday (me) will be at STAPLES Center for the game, so I'll say hi to DeAndre Jordan for everyone.
