The Dallas Mavericks have signed Kyle Collinsworth. The two-year partially guaranteed deal assures Collinsworth an invite to the Mavs' training camp.
Collinsworth played on Dallas' Summer League team in Las Vegas. The 6'6" guard appeared in all six of the Mavericks' games in the desert, often times finding himself as the primary ball handler while on the floor. However, Collinsworth's time in Vegas wasn't exactly impressive.
He averaged 4.2 points on 47.4 percent shooting, 2.4 assists, and one steal in 15.3 minutes per game off the bench.
This is the third partially guaranteed contract the Mavs have handed out to a member of their Summer League squad. Dorian Finney-Smith and Jonathan Gibson also received deals.
With the addition of Collinsworth, the Mavs' roster sits at 17. The team can have up to 20 players on their roster heading into training camp. Dallas will likely add three more players as they look to fill out the end of their bench.
