Per Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the Mavericks are finalizing a 2 year, $6M deal for guard Seth Curry, brother of Stephen Curry.
Seth Curry was most recently on the Kings, where he seemed to find a bit of a role but as yet remains unproven. The Mavericks will be his fifth team in four years, however, so he's yet to really find a place to call home.
A take from our Kings blogger counterpart:
Seth had some flashes but he’s still a very unproven player. I thought he’d get more money, but not by much.

So, it seems that the Mavs got good value, if nothing else.
It's not immediately clear how Curry will fit with the Mavs' current guard rotation with Deron Williams, Devin Harris and J.J. Barea, but he is a good shooter (45 percent from 3 last year, 45.5 percent overall) and at age 25 he helps the Mavericks in moving towards a younger team, which is something they would like to do as Dirk transitions into his final season(s).
With this signing, what does seem clear is that Raymond Felton will likely be moving on to another team.
