The Mavs 2016-17 schedule was released on Thursday afternoon, and it looks like Dallas will need to get used to traveling right off the bat. Nine of Dallas’ first 13 games are on the road, and against pretty stiff competition. Of those nine games, five are against teams that made the playoffs last season.

You can see the full schedule here.

Dallas opens the season on the road against the Pacers, before playing two consecutive games against the in-state rival Rockets.

Some other key early season games come in the first few weeks of November. New Mavs Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut will get their first look against their former team on November 9th, when the Mavs travel to face Golden State. That game comes one night after Dallas squares off against the Kobe-less Lakers.

Mavs fans should also circle November 18th. That’s when the Memphis Grizzlies, and former Mav Chandler Parsons, come to town.

Dallas travels to Cleveland to face LeBron James and the defending NBA Champion Cavaliers a week later, on November 25th.

We’ll have more in depth analysis of the Mavs’ schedule coming soon, so stay tuned.
