WHO: Dallas Mavericks at Houston Rockets
WHAT: These guys, on the second game of a back to back, as usual.
WHERE: Toyota Center, Houston, TX
WHEN: 7:00 p.m. CT
HOW: Fox Sports Southwest or NBA League Pass
THE STORY: Somehow, some way, the NBA schedulers always find a way to schedule the Mavericks to play the Rockets on the second night of a back to back for the Mavericks. It will be interesting to see who is even available to play for the Mavs - don’t expect to see Dennis Smith Jr. (knee effusion), Devin Harris (family leave) or Seth Curry (stress reaction in leg). I also wouldn’t be surprised to not see Dirk Nowitzki, or at least see him only in very limited minutes, since he played 27 last night against Sacramento.
For Houston, prize offseason acquisition Chris Paul will be out as well. So, with a limited (and tired) Mavs roster and a Houston roster that, well, is mostly fine absent one guy, I don’t expect this to be a close one. We’re looking at 0-3 absent a surprise.
Go Mavs?
