WHEN: 7:30 p.m. CT

HOW: Fox Sports Southwest or NBA League Pass

THE STORY: This game should be a fun one with all sorts of compelling storylines: Nerlens Noel vs. Joel Embiid (who apparently plans to dunk all over Noel), Ben Simmons vs. Dennis Smith Jr. (in the battle of hyped up rookies), Justin Anderson’s return to Dallas (okay, maybe that’s not a particularly compelling storyline, but it exists nonetheless!)

We’ll be watching to see who is in the starting lineup as Rick Carlisle continues to tinker with what might work best, whether Wes Matthews can continue to shake off his rust, whether Harrison Barnes can also continue to shake off his rust, and whether our intrepid Mavs can pick up their second win.
