For those of you who are fans of something approximating baseball, or those (like me) who don’t care about baseball but enjoy the chance to laugh at the hilarious hijinks of a random assortment of prominent Dallas athletes past and present, minor celebrities, and other Dallas bigwigs, it is finally that time of year again!
Dirk Nowitzki’s baseball game is here! Check out a brief video below where the Big German himself announces the early details:

The game is on June 24 at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco (home of the AA Frisco Rough Riders).
Tickets start at $9, and all proceeds go to the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation and the Heroes Foundation. Past participants have included names like the Cowboys’ Michael Irvin, Jason Witten and Tyron Smith; former Mavericks such as Josh Howard, Jason Terry and Brian Cardinal, and various Dallas sports radio and TV personalities.
This is a great (if extremely silly) event every year and always a ton of fun. Get your tickets while they’re available!
