THE STORY: The Mavericks have had a wildly inconsistent season and have been maddening to try and figure out. And this was the easy part of the season — it gets more tough starting right now. We just may get some answers as to who the real Mavs will be with the return of Harrison Barnes tonight. Barnes’ presence and versatility has been sorely missed. However, Dennis Smith Jr. (right ankle sprain) will NOT play tonight. The basketball gods giveth and taketh away.
Anyway, Kawhi Leonard plays for the Raptors now, so we’re probably screwed. But go Mavs anyway!
