WHO: Dallas Mavericks at Toronto Raptors
WHAT: The midpoint of the Mavericks’ three-game East Coast road trip.
WHEN: 6:30pm Central
WHERE: Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON
HOW: Fox Sports Southwest, Fox Sports GO or NBA League Pass
THE STORY: The Dallas Mavericks have a very tank-unfriendly schedule the remainder of the season. The first and last stops on their current swing through the Eastern Conference are against fellow cellar dwellers the New York Knicks (whom the Mavs beat handily on Tuesday with Kristaps Porzingis out for the season) and the perennially bad Brooklyn Nets.
And since Dirk and company can’t stop, won’t stop trying to beat bad teams, for the sake of their draft pick, they should probably have the decency to lose to one as good as Toronto.
The Mavericks will be without Wesley Matthews (fractured fibula) and Salah Mejri (hamstring). The Raptors may be without rookie OG Anunoby, who is recovering from an ankle injury and was listed as available before last night’s game against the Pacers but did not play.
Put your hands together, Mavs fans.
