WHO: Dallas Mavericks at New Orleans Pelicans
WHAT: The last game of the teams’ regular season series.
WHEN: 7:00pm Central time
WHERE: Smoothie King Center, New Orleans, LA
HOW: Fox Sports Southwest, Fox Sports GO or NBA League Pass
THE STORY: Tonight the Mavericks face the Pelicans for the final time this season. New Orleans has gotten the best of Dallas twice, but tonight’s game offers the Mavs a chance to even the series. The Pelicans will of course be missing DeMarcus Cousins, but that hasn’t slowed them down this season. They’re among the teams currently battling for the bottom four Western Conference playoff slots.
Dallas had one of its best games of the season against the Pelicans this winter as part of its late-December win streak. Dennis Smith Jr. earned his very first NBA triple-double in that game, but he’ll unfortunately be on the sidelines (ankle) for tonight’s game, possibly along with J.J. Barea (ribs) and Salah Mejri (hamstring).
Go Mavs!
